One of the things that complete a great Interior is using original and unique pieces of art. If you like using bursts of colour in your space look no further; I have just discovered the most amazing, charming, creative and unassuming artist and painter in Palma de Mallorca: meet Ángel Hernández.

The future's bright if you discover Nook London. A local, East London-based business founded by St Martins grad Hattie Hollins, Nook London began in 2011 as the filament light bulb specialist brand Mimime.
Although Nook still specialise in the same beautiful bulbs, they have now expanded to feature a stunning range of lights fittings, enamel shades, colourful cable cord… And much, much more!
Nook supplies a wide variety of different fitting choices, so each customer can freely customise products to suit their individual tastes. The classic, vintage style lights have been a huge hit worldwide for those craving that fuss-free, industrial lighting look. Nook London has already been featured in top magazines, such as Dazed and Confused, and our products have been spotted in ultra chic bars, clubs and stores all over.
Check them out at www.nooklondon.com.

My latest addiction is coloured glass. Vintage if possible, but there is some lovely new glass out there, too.
It's an easy way to dress up your room and you can either use tonal colours or go for a colour clash to brighten up your room. This is an example how I mixed vintage and new on top of a fire place.

If you find yourself near the Conran shop in South Kensington you cannot walk past it, trust me. Not a green and red Christmas display in sight, but instead all things neon!
To accompany the blast of colour, get yourself the duo of Little Red Riding Hood and Grandma Wolf as painted wax candles. (But don't light them, far too cute!)

So, today my new Graham & Green catalogue arrived. How very exciting. They have noticed, that mixing the timeless with the timely is the key to design success. Those who know my designs already also know, that I am a fan of mixing the old and the new. So this sofa together with sunburst mirrors really got me drooling.
What do you think?
